Finally the most awaited event Mobile World Congress has started in Barceloana. For the past few weeks we had been hearing about Windows 8.1 update. Recently, we heard that the Microsoft company had a major perception problem its latest operating system. Well no doubt it was indeed a big major step towards fixing this problem.

“With Windows 8, there’s no doubt that we made a big bet and took a first step toward that future. We bet on touch and on mobility in a big way, and included a fresh take on what a touch-based interface could be for customers. We believe deeply in this direction and the future will continue to build on Windows 8″, Belfiore writes.
Another great news is that Microsoft has not only promised to fix this problem but also bring innovation in the user interface system and enhanced support for enterprise customers. Yes, the most awaited upcoming Windows Phone will feature new enterprise W-Fi and other security and management capabilities. It was revealed that this update and innovation will be very beneficial for the non-touch screen devices which just rely on input devices including mouse and keyboard.
“We will continue to deliver innovation and progression with an update to Windows 8.1, coming this spring”, Belfiore states.
Belfiore observed that 40% of Windows 8 devices sold in the United States are touchscreen devices which performed superb yet such devices were deprived of mouse-and-keyboard experience. So this time Windows 8.1 update will have amazing features including discover able search, power and settings in the Start menu for non-touch devices. Hence this time the focus is on both touch devices and the devices relying on mouse and keyboard.
“We love touch. None of the work that we are doing in this Windows update is in anyway degrading the touch experience,” said Belfiore
Hardware Options Update:
Users will have new hardware options this time. Yes, the update has made the Windows 8.1 devices affordable for the low market. As revealed, the hardware requirements will be kept lower as 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. In addition to this, you will have access to the new amazing compatibility mode for Internet Explorer 8 (with Windows 7) for the Internet Explorer 11 browser (with Windows 8). the company has also done partnership with Qualcomm for an impressive design reference for Windows Phone and a website hub for manufacturers which will be a great guide on building process.
